2 Outfits, 2 Dolls, 1 Skirt: A Photo Shoot & Outfit of the Day Combo

Thank you to everyone who enjoyed The Library Dog trilogy photostory! I got more positive feedback than ever before on that story - I am trying to think of others that I can do like it! In the meantime, I got Felicity & Grace into similar clothing and decided to do a cute late fall/early winter photo shoot using a new background; my green front door! I hope you enjoy it!

Please let me know which doll's outfit you liked the best - I'd love to know!
This is just a quick photo to show the tops of Felicity & Grace's outfits. Felicity is wearing the shirt from that Play Jumper AG made, and Grace is wearing the shirt from the Weekend Fun Outfit. I really personally like the green background and I am thinking of doing it more often. What does everyone think? These are outside photos by the way.
The skirts, you may notice, are missing their pink ties. I actually am not a huge fan of the little pink bands around the waist of the skirt, so I turned the skirt over and it still looks good, I think!
The skirt goes SO well with Grace's Meet Outfit Boots.
The two girls with their matching skirts. Both Jasmine and Payton came with this skirt because they are MAG dolls, so that is why I have two of them, in case anyone was wondering. ;P
Felicity's outfit is really cute, and as you can see here, she is using the boots from the same outfit her top came from. I am really having a hard time deciding which girl's outfit I like better.
Grace decided to pose like a model...She is really coming out of her comfort zone and becoming louder and more confident here at AG Farms with the other girls. She is kind of secretly wishing that she wouldn't have to go back to Paris, because she doesn't ever want to leave the friends she met here; even if they do fight sometimes.
"Step right up on the green catwalk, Lissie," Grace laughed, helping Felicity step over the giant step.

"Alright, alright, I guess I will before you start talking to me in more 'fashionista' language. I don't why I agreed to get dressed up in this crazy skirt and take photos! I should be training Penny for the horse show!" Felicity complained, but she was really actually happy to be taking pictures in the crisp air with her friend.

"Oh Lissie," Grace shook her head and laughed.
Did anyone notice that they actually both have the same hairstyle - a high ponytail with a braid on their right side. I think it looks best on Grace because of the way the braid goes above the side bangs, but the hairstyle looks pretty good on both girls. What do you think?
I know that Grace is in the front of all of these pictures and she seems to be the star of the shoot, which is, I hate to admit it, kind of true. I just really liked her outfit more than Lissie's - though don't tell Felicity!
Winter Shoes.

Even though this photo doesn't even show my dolls, just their shoes, I still love it! In fact, it might be one of my favorite photos! I just love the little bow on Grace's shoes, and Felicity's shoes look pretty good in the back. I remember not really liking Grace's meet boots at first, but now I love them!

I hope you enjoyed the photoshoot as much as I enjoyed creating it! To those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving here in the USA, Happy Thanksgiving! To those of you who don't, Happy Winter!

Please let me know in the comments which doll's outfit you like best. I want to know which one to do a photoshoot with once it snows (if it snows)!

Lissie & Payton on the Beach!

My wonderful neighbors/friends invited us to their beach house that is only 4-5 hours away! We couldn't pass that up, so we left on Friday afternoon, spent the night, spent all of Saturday, spent another night, and then we finally got home today in the early afternoon! I had a great time! It wasn't exactly overly sunny or warm so I didn't really go swimming in the ocean, but I collected sea shells and walked on the boardwalk! I had a great time and I was able to bring two dolls (Felicity and Payton). I only took 7 pictures of them - and nowhere near the ocean because it was too rough, but I still thought I'd share - the pictures are pretty cool! Remember, as always with every photo shoot, I'd love to hear your comments, concerns, questions, and ideas to make my photography better!

This is Payton in Julie's Patchwork Outfit (I believe it is retired?). I used the bandana/head scarf that came with the outfit to tie around her messy bun. I figured out how to do perfect buns in my dolls' hair and now I am obsessed with it!
Her head got kind of cut off in this picture, but it was a nice shot of the outfit, I think
I love this picture because she has the sandy dunes behind her. It was really windy out and she fell face first into the sand right after I took this pic. I was super frantic and I kind of panicked when the sand got near her eye, but it all ended well. :P
Felicity's outfit is my absolute favorite and I'm going to post it later as an Outfit of the Day probably. I love her bun with the bandana (Julie's Calico Outfit) tied around it.

More of Lissie against the sand dunes. I'm not sure how this picture will turn out online in the end, but on the camera, it looked pretty clear and I was really proud of myself for getting such a clear picture, but things do tend to come out looking different online, so I don't know if it is actually clear.

Felicity's feet in the sand next to the vines on the beach. She was standing on a sort of hill and I had to bury her feet in a little bit.
Of course, Lissie and Payton had to pose for a picture. My favorite picture of the two is below this one.

I just absolutely LOVE this picture. I don't know why, but Felicity and Payton just look so alive and realistic, like they are really having fun.
Of course, after I finished taking this picture, the rain began to pour. Thank goodness I was wearing a sweater and was able to wrap it around them and the camera that my mom is so careful with but she let me borrow. (The camera cannot get wet from the rain)
I had a great time and if my neighbors happen to read this, thank you guys so much for letting us stay with you! Thanks for helping me pose the dolls too - I had a really, really great time!
(For those who are wondering about Sewing Sunday, I have made SOOOO much progress on my dress and it is basically finished, but I was unable to get good pictures of it today, so for this week only, I am going to post Sewing Sunday on Monday! :P)
Thanks for reading my blog!

Grace and Firefly: A Photoshoot

I know, I know, everyone is probably bored of seeing photo shoots of Grace, but the lighting was so nice outside today and Grace and my AG horse were calling out to me, so I just had to do another photo shoot. Plus, I love practicing photography anyway!
Give me feedback/advice on these pictures - I really want to get better at photography and I need advice!
I am practicing telling a story with pictures, so I am going to do this post without any words! I thought that would be an interesting technique; sometimes it is fun for the reader to interpret the pictures into their own creative story. In the comments, you can tell me what you think is going on in this photo story!
Alright, here we go:

(an apple, for those who have no idea what that red thing is XD)

I hope you liked the photos! I'm having a lot of fun taking pictures in my free time! Thank you for all the comments you are leaving on my blog - each one makes me feel so good and happy, and I appreciate it!

A Photo Shoot...

I really wanted to get outside again today and shoot some pictures, and I loved the outfit I came up with for Grace, so I got outside and did a photo shoot! It's quick and doesn't really have a theme - I just wanted to practice my photography in nice lighting!
I'm still really, really trying to improve my photography, so any tips and suggestions would be appreciated! Tell me what you think.
Grace's outfit! Her face is a little blurry, but the camera focused in on her outfit - which is fine with me! I used my favorite outfit: the AG purple shirt and skirt. I'm pretty sure they retired these two items. The cardigan is from the Journey Girls Meredith doll. The coloring matched the stripes on the shoes, which are pictured below!
The shoes! The coloring of the stripes on the shoes nearly matches the cardigan. I have always loved these shoes!
The foil star with sequins! Ahhh! My favorite shirt!

The highlights in Grace's hair were looking beautiful in the fading sunlight. I love her side braid and haven't taken it out just because I love it so much and don't think I could replicate it the same.
Grace is just so beautiful. Her face is just so unique - with her unique freckly pattern and everything.

Grace in the sunlight. I love how the sun cast a small shadow on her face as she sat on the hill in my backyard!
Those green spots are tiny weeds. I took this picture while the camera was in the grass! It turned out looking a little weird, but I thought it was interesting enough to share!
I loved this picture. Sometimes pictures of dolls with their eyes closed look weird, but I like the ones I took today!

I've seen people do this heart thing with their hair, and I couldn't resist trying it out with Grace's beautiful hair! I thought that these sort of pictures were sort of overdone, but I just could not resist!
Now for my favorite picture from the photo shoot:
This! I love how her hair is shaped into a heart and she is just lying in the soft grass in such a serene way!

So, that is all I really have for that photo shoot, but I want photography tips on what I could do better when I do photo shoots like these! XD
Oh, and I promise I'll try and come up with a theme for the next photo shoot. This photo shoot was sort of all over the place.

Oh, and remember to check Part #1 of the latest episode of the Princess Annabelle series down below in the previous post and tell me what you think the comments!

Grace's Photoshoot and an Announcement!

Well, earlier I posted that I was back in the AG blogging world, and here I am! This is just a post with a small photo shoot starring Grace (w/Shola making a small appearance and Kirsten too!). I just wanted to post something to get me started back from my blogging break. At the bottom of the post is some small news/mini announcement about a new photo story change that I am making to a new photo story that you may/may not know about!

I love this pic I took of Grace. It captures her so, so well. She's shy and casual, but she has an air of style about her! XD This is my favorite shirt on her, even though I didn't really expect it to be!

Shoes. I love the shoes that came with the skateboarding set. They look really cute with a pair of shorts and this shirt. They are so easy to get on and actually have mesh sides (AG should pay me as an official advertiser! XD).

Grace and Kirsten hair comparison for no reason. After all, their hair is obviously different colors and it is somewhat noticeably a different texture too.

Kirsten and Grace side by side. Grace is slightly taller, even when both girls are flat feet against the ground. I'm kind of confused about that, and when I put all the girls together they are all different heights - like people. XD (Oh, and in case anyone was wondering, Ivy was about the tallest and Kit was about the shortest)

Grace has become great friends with the others. I know I started out a photo story earlier in the year, but she became friends and they got over anything they had been fighting about, quickly. Well, Grace may not be totally comfortable with Ivy and Payton right now..yet. XD

Grace's charm bracelet.

Eiffel tower.
Dog.
Postcard.
Heart.
Macaron.
Suitcase.
I love the charm bracelet!!!

Shola and Grace. Grace actually looks really old in this pic, like as in 15 or 16 years old, I think. I really like the height difference between the H4H girls and the AG dolls.
Shola looks up to Grace.

Grace and Grace!? Yep, the two Graces (Grace #1 and Grace #2 instead of Thing #1 and Thing #2). The Graces are friends. XD

Grace #2 (the dog) is mainly just focused on stealing the spotlight. What's new with that funny basset hound?!

"Play with me!" Grace #2 the Dog always seems to be parking...even when Grace had an important phone call meeting. Oh Grace #2.

Grace is getting into her character. This is actually about to be where the announcement is, so keep reading if you are interested it (you better be! XD JK XD). :P

The announcement: Some of you may remember when I did a small "pilot" episode or kind of a test to see how the readers would react to a photo series I came up with, about a girl named Virginia who lives in NYC with her older and younger sisters. Well, I've decided to start filming the official first episode. I have made one minor/major adjustment. Instead of the main character being Payton, I decided that "Ginny" the character would be better played by Grace! SO, Grace is the new Ginny from NYC! I've also made a few tweaks to her personality that you'll see whenever I post the first episode.
One of the adjustments to the photo series' main character, Virginia (Gin/Ginny) is whether or not to give her glasses. So, I'd like for everyone to tell me in the comments whether you think she should have glasses or not, because I really would appreciate some advice from readers!
Here is a bit of her personality: Ginny is rambunctious and desires to be different. She likes to tell things how they are, outsmart her parents, study her older sister, and "teach" her younger sister. She's very much her "own" person. I see her as having glasses like the picture below, but I really don't know! XD The pic above shows her without glasses in her character and below is the character with glasses.

With glasses!

Grace with Shola!

Shola is wearing an obviously-too-big outfit. I was desperately trying to find more ways to fit all the outfits to her. This is kind of cute, but just too big to be realistic, I think.

Shola and Gracie! Random pic. XD
